Rat Path

Rat Path are a hardcore band from Seattle, WA Formed in the Fall of 2012. The band set out to create a sound that would encompass the collective musical tastes of it's members. The result is Rat Path's debut self-released EP "Mean Streets". Blending elements of thrash and classic and modern hardcore,  Rat Path has created four tracks of headbang inducing tunes that capture the raw energy of the group. The band plans to self-release the EP on 7" vinyl in the Spring of '13.

Pjaro

Pjaro are a post-rock punk emo whatever else band from Sheffield. the band are releasing a new 7"  'Goodnight Sweet Prince' is the latest 7"  on October 31st 2013  by Not Laughing records.  Building on the momentum gathered by their 4 releases since forming in April 2012, pjaro have refined their sound and broadened the range of instruments used in the recording process. The latest effort draws disparate influences ranging from the meditative minimalism of Lungfish to the intensity of Iron Lung's power violence. Though the sound is occasionally bleak pjaro maintain a sense of humour that displays itself throughout their upcoming 7". they put up the first song off the record for free download so check it out and see the rest of their releases on the bandcamp.

Morality Crisis

Morality Crisis is prog rock hardcore post-hardcore sludge "shitrock" band from Minneapolis. The band devastates the earballs with slabs of iconoclastic post-hardcore, reminiscent of bands like Sleep, Yes, Drive Like Jehu, and Deicide. This Minneapolis-based act, composed of three lifelong friends, create a sound as soul-crushingly grounded as a Minnesconsin winter, yet as unpredictable as the wide-eyed dissonance of the Midwestern psyche. “Boats” was funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign and produced by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording in Richfield, MN in January-March 2013, The album guides the listener from pant-shitting weaponsludge ("Enormous Fucking Death Ass Knife") to stabbing hardcore ("Gary Plays with Fire") to life-affirming doom prog ("Electric Friends") and everywhere in between.
