Shed For You

Shed For You were a Melodic/Chaotic Grindcore band from Tarpon Springs Florida formed in 2002. I got to see these dudes and talk to them many times during their existance and they seemed to be really be into playing out here in Daytona. I still have good memories of talking about I Have Dreams with bassist Pat or trying to get them to play the song they always hated playing "Your Music Is Bad and You Should Feel Bad". They started out as a school project for vocalist Brett along with Roger, & shortly after Chris joined on guitar. This was when the Exhibit A demo was made but was never released. They played a few shows as a 3 peice until Pat asked them to play bass, he had never played before being in the band. They recorded their first full length Exhibit B in 2003, which was followed by more Shows. In 2004 They recorded their 2nd full length Exhibit C and did a short tour with Silence After Tragedy. From 2004 to 2005 they toured the east coast of the United States a few times playing shows with Me & Him Call it Us, and Mass Movementnt of the Moth. At this time they put out an "unofficial" 10 song version of the Exhibit D release. Later in 2005 they released Exhibit E on Cassette & Mini CDs. Shed For You then toured a few times in 2006 (which included a set they played at the Central Connecticut State University campus radio station, that was recorded & later released on the Discography, that I can't find), they also re-recorded 4 songs off the Unofficial Exhibit D and made it into a 7". They were going to Make an Exhibit F but It never came to be and the band played their final show in December 16, 2007 at the Skate-park of Tampa in Tampa. In June 2008 they got back together for one last time (minus brett) to play the last show of their long time friends Now Soldiers at the 688 Skate-park in Clearwater. The guys in Shed For You also ran Sherwood Records which released all their stuff. After breaking up Chris went on to be in the band Devout, & I recall Roger did some experimental solo project but the name escapes me. The Download includes Exhibits B,C,D,& E I'm still looking for A, & the unofficial D if anyone out there has it.

Spring Break! are a Thrash/Death/Grind band from Fontana California formed in 2003. They play songs about Beer, Babes, Metal and Poser Control.This band rules hard and I love them, if I wasn't straight edge i'd down a case of beer while raging in my bedroom. Big ups to the band themselves for hooking me up with their extended 2004 Demo, the original released version has only 4 songs but the guys have hooked me up with a 12 song version. Little Princess

Little Princess were an all girl Grindcore/Powerviolence band from San Francisco formed in 1997. The story of this band is they are Aliens from the planet Puchin Pring who look and sound like Japanese girls, they are trying to make enough money as a band to fix the engine on their mother ship and return to their home planet to save everyone from their arch nemesis Madam Cactus. But really It was some girls from Japan that made a short lived band on summer vacation in America. As a band they recorded a 7" called "Song Collection" limited to only 200-250 copies, and had two songs on two compilations called "BLLLEEEEAAAUUURRRRGGHHH! - A Music War" & "Cool Beans! #7 San Francisco And Bikes Issue". This band rules so hard and I've been trying to get a hold of the 7" forever, so someone hook me up with it. members of Better Than Your Hand & Geri Live. for fans of Spazz, Assuck, Napalm Death, and His Hero is Gone

Graf Orlock

Graf Orlock is a grindcore band formed in 2003 from Los Angeles, California. They are named after Graf Orlock from the film Nosferatu. Graf Orlock commonly uses audio snippets and script dialogue from action movies like The Terminator, Aliens, Die Hard,  RoboCop & many others in all their songs; this mix has been jokingly called "cinema-grind." Love this band now and forever, I've only got to see them many moons ago at a very old Daytona Hardcore show. current & ex-members are also in or were in: As Hope Dies, Greyskull, Arctic Choke, Dangers, Children Of God and Ghostlimb. Some of the members also run Vitriol Records.

Asterisk* was hardcore/grind band from Umeå, Northern Sweden formed in 1999. The story is pretty much The members were tired with slow punk and metal bands and wanted to create something new in their area. These guys barely had any Live performances they were very rare and far between. Also the band never went on tour or played outside of the Northern region of Sweden. In 2002 the band slipped into hiatus and has never been herd from again. Features members of Demon System 13 and Female Anchor of Sade. Great band, buy their stuff from 31G.

Hivesmasher is a heavy grind/death metalcore band from Massachusetts that formed in 2004. In 2008 they released a Demo (which I don't have) and their 1st LP called Ascension Into Dismal Stages, and as of now in 2010 are working on a new LP that is currently Untitled. I have listed the link to their Bandcamp site that has live recordings for download of the Untitled Album that they played on a metal radio show called The Stress Factor. Other bands current and ex-members have been a part of are Eviscerate, Los Bungalitos, Failed Science, Entropy, & Brutal No. 2

As The Sun Sets

As The Sun Sets was a Mathcore/Grindcore band from Providence formed in 1998. ATSS was an awesome band and i'm sure most people that find this already know of them/might already have this stuff but oh well. They started out with a metallic mosh-heavy sound during the start of the band til the time of the 1st LP Each Individual Voice Is Dead In The Silence, but this was replaced by a noisier, more frenetic approach to songwriting soon after that. They released another LP called 7744 which introduced the new sound and sometime later they also put out a self made live EP for a summer tour that was only limited to 200 copies. In 2002 the band called it quits and released one final EP called 8949. I have read tales long ago that their were Demos before all the albums but I have never seen or herd anything more about them. Members went on to be in Daughters, Bury Your Dead, She Rides (formerly Playgirl), Umbrella, Suffering Bastard, and Zombifying Venom.
